The University has three campuses; Treforest (the main campus) and Glyntaff are located just 12 miles north of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. ATRiuM is the new state-of-the-art campus in the heart of Cardiff, home to the Cardiff School of Creative & Cultural Industries.

Pontypridd, home town of University of Glamorgan, also boasts top-class bars, restaurants and all the big-name high street stores – ideal for those who succumb to the urge to shop and socialise. An array of bars holds regular events from quizzes and karaoke to disco and DJ evenings, and there are twice-weekly indoor and outdoor markets for the thrifty-at-heart. That town that gave the world Tom Jones, Lostprophets and the Welsh national anthem also boasts the Muni Arts centre, which has regular live music, cinema and theatre events.

And the nearby Parc Nantgarw leisure complex has a multi-screen cinema, bowling and places to eat and drink, most of which offer those all-important student discounts. In the summer months, you cannot beat the impressive Ynysangharad Park in the town centre for the ultimate lazy-day venue. With tennis courts, cricket pitches and mini golf plus free summertime entertainment, it can be as lively as it can relaxing.

Fortunately, the University of Glamorgan staff are on-hand from the moment you apply – and right throughout your studies – to ensure you have the most comfortable possible roof over your head.

The University of Glamorgan allocates the majority of acommodation to first year students. If your studying at Treforest or Glyntaf choosing to live in halls gives you the opportunity to meet new people, make friends and enjoy your independence whilst living in a safe and secure environment.
